News:- Black Spots caused 17 lives in a month in Ropar(Punjab):- Report
What are the Black Spots?
- Black Spots are the position of a road where maximum accidents and casualties take place.
- According to the report prepared by “PUNJAB VISION ZERO & TANDRUST PUNJAB MISSION”, there are around 30 black spots in Ropar(Punjab) due to which 612 people lost their lives in last 3 years.
Causes:-
- Faulty road designs.
- Lack of Infrastructure for pedestrians path.
- Nexus of contractors and corrupted government officials.
