What is the name of the Scheme?
- Punjab Enaksha Portal – Naksha Pass Fees / House Map Approval Online.
What this Scheme is all about?
- Punjab Enaksha or Online Building Plan Approval System (OBPAS) launched at enaksha.lgpunjab.gov.in.
- This new E-Municipal Naksha website is a one-stop shop for all architects or citizens to submit designs or documents for construction plan approval.
- This will accommodate 165 Urban Local Agencies (LUBs) in addition to 27 improvement trusts. People can now check the Naksha Pass Fees easily and can even get House Map approval through online mode.
Punjab Enaksha Online Building Plan Approval System (OBPAS):
- Govt. also focuses on the modernization of infrastructure in all State Urban Local bodies (UL Bs).
- Punjab E-Naksha or OBPAS is a purely online platform where no construction plan is permitted to be submitted manually.
- To increase transparency in the approval of construction plans and save time, the government launched online approval of construction plans.
- The construction plan would only be approved through an online portal to provide no-hassle services to residents. With this initiative, people would not have to wander in offices and middlemen would be eliminated
Objective:
The DLG, Government of Punjab (GOP) is working to enhance government capacity and strengthen institutional capacity to deliver sustainable access to effective services for the urban poor. This will support the overall goal of economic growth in Punjab. The programme will deliver three integrated outputs:
- More responsive
- Accountable
- Inclusive service delivery by the state and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
Coverage:-
- Automate building plan approval process in 165 ULBs and 27 Improvement Trusts
- Provide a one-stop platform for all architects/citizen to submit drawings/documents for building plan approval process
- Integrate with the e – Governance portal as already mentioned in G2C objective.
