News:-Punjab has been ranked 2nd in ‘Logistics Ease Across Different States: 2019’ by Ministry of Commerce & Industry that studies the perception of industry players and stakeholders across India.

- 10 farmers from Punjab have been awarded by the National Conference for farmers for their efforts to efficiently manage paddy straw and promote residue management for clean & green environment.
- Two of the farmers namely Narinder Singh from village Booh Havelian of Tarn Taran and Bhupinder Singh from village Badanpur in Mohali received special recognition for their contribution to managing paddy straw & generating awareness for a better environment. Also for sowing their wheat crop with a happy seeder and not burning any residue on their fields.
