What is the news?

 

  • Cabinet meeting: Appointment to the posts of Medical-Paramedical.

 

Steps to be taken:-

 

  • A State Cabinet meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Jairam Thakur.
  • The state cabinet conducted a full review of the status of Kovid-19. All the preparations made by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Himachal Pradesh and the present situation were informed to the State Cabinet.
  • After this, after extensive discussion, it was decided that various medical and paramedical posts will be appointed on an outsourced basis for three months as required in the Health Department. Also, the cabinet approved the construction of a dedicated Kovid-19 hospital for SLBSGMC Nerchak Mandi.
  • He further informed that all the cabinet members also instructed to carry out the active case finding campaign in the state smoothly and appreciated the move of the department.

What is the news?

 

  • An important decision was taken to promote industrialization.

 

Steps to be taken:-

 

  • To promote industrialization in the state and to facilitate entrepreneurs, the cabinet decided to provide incentives and to reduce/reduce stamp duty and registration fees.
  • Now investment up to Rs 10 crore in plant and machinery in micro, small and medium enterprises manufacturing enterprises and in case of a specified category of service enterprises 50 million stamp duty and concessional rate of registration fee 50 per cent, 30 per cent and applicable rates. 10 per cent will be taken on conveyance deed or lease deed in the category ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ respectively.
  • Similarly, in the case of enterprises in which manufacturing enterprises invest up to Rs 10 crore in plant and machinery and the case of a specified category of service enterprises, five crore stamp duty and registration fee concessional rates of 50 per cent, 30 per cent and 20 per cent of applicable rates respectively. In the category ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ area, the conveyance deed or lease deed will be taken.
  • It was decided in the meeting that anchor enterprises established in industrial areas with a fixed capital investment of more than Rs 200 crores and regularly employing more than 200 Bonafide Himachalis are eligible for 50 per cent concession on stamp duty and registration fee. , At the appropriate rates of 30 per cent, 20 per cent, respectively, for category deed or lease deed in the category ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ respectively.   • The cabinet has leased 30 bighas of land to M / s JBR Environment Technologies (Baddi) Private Limited of the Department of Industries at Mauja Kendualal, Baddi in Solan district to set up a solid waste management project collected at token money of Rs 1 per square meter for 25 years.
