  • IIIT Una will become the first institute of the Himachal.

 

About Course:

  • Indian Institute of Information Technology (Triple IT) Una has received approval from the Board of Governors (BOG) for the initial MTech course.
  • From this academic session, 30 seats will be admitted under the MTech Computer Science Engineering (CSE). Under the course, there will be specialization in Cyber ​​Security and Data Science.

  • MOU to provide training on drone technology.

 

With whom was this MOU signed?

  • Nine universities, 50 degree colleges and the Technical Education Department today signed an MoU with the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) for running drone flying training-related skill development courses across the state.

  • Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Virendra Kumar, today called on government departments to make eradicating malnutrition among women and children in the Chamba district a priority.
  • He presided over a meeting to review various benchmark points under the Aspirational District Program here.

 

Union Minister for Social Justice and Inclusive Empowerment shared:

  • The Union Minister said that the nutrition provided by anganwari centres was important to eradicate malnutrition.
  • He stressed regular monitoring of pregnant women and special attention to be given to underweight children.
  • He added that under the Aspirational District Program, on the basis of transparent parameters, a composite index had been prepared taking into account various types of challenges to be faced in future in terms of poverty, relatively weak and nutritional and educational status and inadequate infrastructure for citizens. The Delta ranking was done every month to review various activities.
