• Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Chamba energy project on June 16th.

About Project:

• The PM is to inaugurate the 180 MW Bajoli Holi electricity project in Chamba.
• This run-of-the-river project on the Ravi is being executed by GMR Energy.

1) Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has released two books of renowned writer Jagdish Sharma at Raj Bhavan, Shimla, today.

The Governor released “Shaktipeeth, in reference to Himachal” and a poetry collection “Maa Aur Dwandva”. In the Shaktipeeth book, he has made available factual information by doing research work on the major Shaktipeeths of Himachal.

2) A cultural program ‘Swar Manjari’ is being organized at Raj Bhavan, Shimla on 20 May to provide a proper platform to classical music in Himachal Pradesh and to encourage artists.
