Himachal’s Bhuntar airport ranked 10th in the country in satisfying customers.

Under the Customer Satisfaction Index, the airport was surveyed on 33 parameters including cleanliness, better facilities.
The Bhuntar airport has got a rating of 4.80 out of five in the survey conducted in two rounds.

The survey was conducted across 67 airports with passenger load less than 20 lakhs across the country for customer satisfaction. The first survey was conducted from October to December 2021 and the second from January to March 2022.

Sanitation, parking, baggage delivery speed, security, staff behavior, flight information screen, dining facilities, Wi-Fi and airport environment were included in the survey. Bhuntar Airport Chief Security Officer RP Srivastava said that the airport staff are happy to be in the top ten.

For the first time in Himachal, the Shimla police launched the «Shor Nahi» app.

The Department of Environmental Science and Technology has developed this app. The complainant can himself check the noise level on this app. If the noise exceeds the prescribed standards, then you can complain about it. Not only this, the complainant will also be able to send the photo of the concerned place on the app.

With that, you can immediately complain of those who make noise around you. You have to download this app by going to Google Play Store. After this, whether it is day or night, complaints of inconvenience caused by loud noises can be lodged with the police. The specialty of the app is that the complainant’s location will be recorded automatically as soon as he logs in to it. Creating more noise in villages and localities has also been kept in the category of crime.

SP Dr. Monica Bhutungaru told that if music is played in the surrounding area during night time, then complaints of inconvenience can be lodged on ‘No noise’ app. The police administration is trying to provide better facilities to the residents of the district.
