• A team of experts from the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (ABVIMAS), Manali, today conducted trials of paragliding from the peak of the Solasinghi Dhar in Kutlehar and gave its consent to notify Garvhasada as the take-off spot for paragliders.

Where is Solah Singhi Dhar?

• Solah Singhi Dhar or Jaswan Dhar Range is a prominent tourist attraction in Una. The first 14 km of the hill range, starting near Talwara on the Beas river, lies in the Kangra District and ultimately culminates as a ridge separating Kangra from the Una District.
