Department of Education to provide smartphones to poor students, particularly in geographically challenging areas.
Internet facility is the main concern and to resolve this issue the government is discussing with BSNL and other telecom companies to build infrastructure in such tough areas for un-interrupted internet facility and to improve the existing one.
Many parents are not in favour of opening schools until COVID-19 completely ends.

The government is planning to launch a campaign called Donate a Mobile, in which NGOs and youth will be involved and companies will be urged to fund the mobiles under the corporate social responsibility program.
Between 14,000 and 15,000 students in the 10th and 12th grades of public schools will benefit from this initiative.

To promote the rich art and craftsmanship of Chamba, the local administration has decided to promote the local art and craftsmanship of Chamba, in particular Chamba Chappal.

Chamba is a very historic place which is district now. There are numerous historical and traditional objects like Chamba rumal, miniature paintings, woodworking, Chamba thaal and many more.
Livelihood of many artistic families depend upon the sale of these traditional products, and government is making ways to promote such rich art to the public and tourists specially and this will increase the income of the craftsman.
For this the administration has decided to provide raw material for Chamba chapel and other products and has decided to provide a space for sale and showcase of such products at Bhalei Mata temple complex.
