What is the news?

• First time in Himachal, a Mobile therapy bus for children with disability inaugurated in Kullu district and funded by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency.

What is the purpose of Therapy on Wheels?

• To reach the remote areas of Kullu district, and provide physiotherapy to the specially-abled children at their doorstep.

What facilities does it provide?

• Therapy on wheels is a mobile clinic equipped with different types of equipment which provides different therapies like treadmill, therapy wall, toys, wheelchairs, etc. which are installed on the bus.

Therapy on Wheels as a social activist

• It will also assist in spreading awareness to masses regarding the therapy and disability.
