What is the news?

• Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojana 2021.

 

 

Purpose:

• The government of Himachal Pradesh invites HP Grihini Suvidha Yojana to provide LPG connections to poor families not covered by Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).

 

Vision:

• Grihini Suvidha Yojana in Himachal Pradesh will bring about the empowerment of women and will also help to create a pollution-free environment in the state.

 

The highlights of Himachal Pradesh Grihini Suvidha Yojna are as follows:-

• HP’s government will provide a guarantee amount for domestic connection to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and a gas stove to poor families.
• All families in the state who does not possess the LPG Gas Connections and are not covered under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) will get covered under HP Grahani Suvidha Scheme 2021.

• This project aims to provide an installation to connect to LPG gas to all poor families for at least 2 years.

What is the news?

• HP CM Roshni Scheme 2021.

 

Purpose:

• As part of the CM Roshni program, the state government will provide free power connections for the poor.
• The state government will provide free electricity connections to about 17,550 poor families in the state under the Himachal Chief Minister Roshni Yojana (CM Free Electricity Connection Scheme in Himachal Pradesh). People who are always without electricity connection can enjoy this free HP electricity connection system.

 

Qualifying criteria for the HP Mukhyamantri Roshni Yojana:

• He should be a member of the BPL family.
• He should be a member of the family covered under Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY).
• He should be a member of the Priority Household (PH).
• His annual income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 35,000.
• The applied load in his premises should be less than 2 KW.

 

News:

 

First:

• Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has congratulated seven specially-abled sportsperson of Himachal Pradesh University, who won 14 medals in the 6^th HP Para-Sports State Championship held at Dharamshala.

Second:

• Sumit singla, managing director, curetech group and foundation president, amit singla welfare society was awarded the best achiever award 2021 by himachal pradesh chief minister jairam thakur in view of his services to the society.
• On this occasion, the chief minister was felicitated with a pencil sketch as an award of best chief minister in view of the overall development of the state by the society over the years.
• The chief minister released the third issue of the society’s magazine on the occasion. He praised Sumit risingla for taking time out of his precious time to join the service of the society and publishing it as a magazine and motivating others to serve the society.
• It may be recalled that almost single social welfare society has set a world record by setting a world record by setting up 4 blood donation camps to meet the blood requirements of covid patients admitted on page and state hospitals during the covid epidemic. A total of 20 blood donation camps has been organized by the society in the state so far.
• During the covid epidemic, the society has participated extensively in essential medicines, sanitizers, anchors as well as the chief minister’s relief fund. In addition, more than 2 lakh plantations have been carried out by the society in bbn area in the last 14 years. The work has been carried out in BBN area parks, crematoriums, schools, colleges and government offices.
• The third issue of the society’s magazine contains details of social work done by the society.
