During the programs, the artists told that the ambitious Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana.

Yojana has been started to promote self-employment in the state, under which works like opening health, fitness centers to running hotels and restaurants have also been included.
He said that under the scheme, 25 percent investment subsidy is being given to the youth of the age group of 18 to 45 years at the project cost of Rs.60 lakh, whereas for women it is 30 percent. This gratuity to widows is 35 percent.

The artists informed that the state government is providing monthly social security pension.

He said that under the Sahara Yojana

The financial assistance of Rs 3,000 is being provided to the patients suffering from serious diseases like cancer, Parkinson’s, paralysis, hemophilia.

Governor Rajender Vishwanath Arlekar has congratulated Muskan Negi, a renowned singer of Himachal Pradesh for winning first prize at Golden Voice Award, a national level competition organized at New Delhi.
While appreciating the efforts of visually impaired Muskan, the Governor said that she is a highly talented PHD scholar and an inspiration for the youth.
He said that she is a youth icon of the Election Commission for HP polls and brand ambassador of Umang Foundation.
He said that achieving first place amongst 200 participants at a National level competition is a big achievement.
This achievement of Muskan determines that anyone can achieve anything with determination.
He said that he has always made efforts to empower specially-abled students and congratulated Umang Foundation for their efforts in this direction.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was yesterday signed between the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institution Regulatory Commission (HPPERC) to promote industry-academic partnership in training, exchange of students and faculty, upgradation of curriculum and joint research consultancy.

The Memorandum of Understanding provides for the exchange of non-confidential information related to the state education sector and the exchange of professional experience related to services rendered.
Both sides have agreed to share with each other all research relating to activities, projects undertaken under the agreement and will enjoy joint ownership of all intellectual property rights in terms of copyrights, patents, trademarks for any discoveries, inventions and any outcomes resulting from the joint activities undertaken under the MOU.
