- Virasat -e – Khalsa creates a record.
- The museum has achieved the feat of recording the maximum footfall of visitors in a museum in a day.
- The museum has observed the presence of 20,569 visitors on 20th March 2019.
- The award has been given by the World Book of Records.
The museum has already received the awards from the following:-
- Limca Book of Records.
- India Book of Records.
- Asia Book of Records.
It has also received a certificate of excellence from Tripadvisor.com.
This feat remarkably coincides with the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
About the museum:-
- Virasat-e- Khalsa has been designed by the Jewish architect, Moshe Safdie.
- It wonderfully depicts the Sikh history and the Punjabi way of life.
- The museum celebrates 500 years of the Sikh history and the 300th anniversary of the birth of Khalsa, based on the scriptures written by the tenth and last human Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
