What is the Scheme?

• Punjab Shehri Awas Yojana.

Purpose:

• The State Government of Punjab is committed to providing financial assistance to those in need for the construction of houses under the Punjab Shehri Awas Yojana.
• In an effort to establish the process, a new web portal was launched.
• The website is available in Punjabi and English.

Punjab Shehri Awas Yojana (AHP/ BLC) Apply Online:

• The new Punjab Shehri Awas Yojana – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana portal will help applicants access the benefits of this program immediately. The Punjab PMAY portal was launched in the context of the Punjab State Urban Livelihood Mission.
• This new website has been launched as an apply online portal for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Punjab.

Eligibility for Punjab Shehri Awas Yojana:

• You must be a resident of Punjab.
• You must be more than 18 years of age.
• You or anyone from your family should not be a government employee.
• You should belong to the backward classes to be eligible for this scheme.
• Ensure you have your caste certificate before you apply for the scheme.
